Is Aishwarya Rai suffering from from stomach tuberculosis and can't conceive?

Big B gets another award at the star-studded 55th Filmfare Awards ceremony in Mumbai late Saturday night but the actor was not present as he and his family were protesting against the news broken by Mumbai Mirror that Aishwarya Rai was having stomach tuberculosis and may not be able to conceive.

Amitabh is reported to have sent a legal notice asking for retraction and apology and also waned that they would not attend the Filmfare award which they did not as the tabloid did not put any formal apology for the alleged news item.

Amitabh has claimed that the news is totally false after he read the story in Mumbai Mirror and Aishwarya also pulled out immediately from the Filmfare award ceremony where she was supposed to perform some dance with Salman Khan.

Nobody still knows whether the news is true or false but the privacy should have been respected. Mumbai Mirror belongs to Times of India group which also owns the Filmfare and so the Bachchan family is now very angry with the TOI owners and management.

Just a retraction and apology... Why not a defamation suit? Well, I am surprised that Mr Amar Singh has not jumped in yet :)

Just checked the story in Mumbai Mirror, they did not write that she will not conceive but they claimed that they have come to know from a close family friend (who is that???) that Ash is undergoing treatment for stomach TB and after that cures completely she will respond to "the very ardent desire to have an heir for the family as soon as possible." Also the story reads that an anguished Amitabh Bachchan has written about "the rich man's TB", in his blog dispelling the myth that the disease only afflicts the less privileged. It explains probably why Bachchans are not going for a defamation case.

The issue is not worth discussing. Are we here to discuss who is capable of conceiving or not? Well then please tell me what is the reason why Salman Khan is not marrying? Do he has any problem with his....? Lets get him checked-up? Ok then do Karina left Shahid because of his size [small kid]? This is all very ridiculous .... Let us all respect the privacy of an individual. Tabloids should restrain themselves from creating unnecessary sensassions and respect the privacy of an individuals. Bachchan's should file defamation....

Holy Cow Vani!!! That's a bombshell from TOI, @ Ranger, are you suspecting Amar Singh Ji? LOL :) Chemical Sis, I didn't get you, why it is ridiculous? And Sunil Ji, Are you trying to suggest that Salman is still waiting for Ash to break up with Abhishek Bachchan, holy cow!!! So many open questions!!!!
