12 Contestants. One Place On The Kingfisher Calendar 2010. Reality Was Never Hotter.

Bangalore, India, October 30, 2009: Kingfisher and NDTV Good Times launches a Brand New Reality show which gives one girl a chance to be on the Kingfisher Calendar 2010.

But how did it all begin?

1000's of aspiring models from all over the world applied to NDTV Good Times 2 months ago to be a part of the Kingfisher Calendar 2010. After a detail scrutiny 12 finalists were chosen among the auditions conducted in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. With dreams in their eyes and hopes in the hearts the finalists were taken to Goa at the ZURI Varca hotel where the Battle of the Bikinis begun. With unusual tasks, splendid photo shoots and fierce competition the girls fought to strike their best. Atul Kasbekar, Milind Soman and Shobhaa De along with DINO MOREA and MADHAVAN in the first episode Judged the contestants depending on their performance

The "Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2010" begins. With over a 1000 entries to screen from, the short-listed contestants have finally been brought down to 12. In this episode, we show you the grueling screening process where the girls flaunt their ready-to-hit-the-beach bodies, first introductions and the venue of the "hunt": The Zuri Varca, in Goa which provides the perfect setting for the tasks the girls are put to.
The girls are put to their first task: to walk on a 4-inch plank constructed on the pool wearing high heels. Unexpected reactions, tense moments and jitters are at their peak... Some walk gracefully, others trot not-so-gracefully and there were still some who twiddle and fall into the pool. There is no place for faulters... No room for mistakes... It isn't just about having the perfect body, here they need to look good at absolutely all times and perform the tasks to the best.
Anchor Milind Soman and judge Shobhaa De together with guest judges R. Madhavan and Dino Morea decide who stays on and who is eliminated. Watch the very first episode of this unprecedented series to find out who makes the cut and the excited beach beauties almost throw Dino Morea into the pool.
