Inspired from the hottest movie of our times, Rang De Basanti, there's only one mantra that Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM has been echoing for the past two week: "Koi Bhi Saher Perfect Nahi Hota, Usse Banana Padta Hai. During this election, not only will the RJs cast their vote for their preferred candidate, but also encourage the citizens to be responsible and live up to their civic duties. Every RJ has been weaving this idea in their content innovatively.

With Main Bhi Corporator campaign RJ Jeeturaaj on his show Hi Mumbai gave listeners an opportunity to voice their opinion on the existing Corporator in reign. Listeners also got a chance to go on-air and say what they would do if they were elected as a Corporator. Besides this, RJ Jeeturaj directed listeners to various websites for information on candidates from their ward. The ultimate aim was to help citizens make an informed decision. To encourage them further, RJ Jeeturaaj will give-out Radio Mirchi goodies to select lucky listeners who will put-up pictures of their inked finger post casting their votes.

RJs Suren and Meera of Sunset Samosa in their own distinctive and entertaining way educated listeners about the importance of voting for the right candidate. In a 2 weeks campaign called Brihan Mumbai Mushaira, they highlighted the different aspects of the Corporators job in a Shaayari competition format. The aim was to make citizen of Mumbai aware of what to expect from candidates. Listeners were encouraged to write shaayaris and an opportunity to go on-air. To add to the excitement and fun, the competition ended with renowned lyricists Neelesh Mirsa and Rajshekhar contributing their shaayris on-air as well!
